Beccles Road, Bradwell, 450mm Water Main Installation

The overall scheme involves the installation of 4.8km of new water main and the construction of a new booster pumping station at our Lound Water Treatment Works. The scheme will increase the capacity of our existing water network in the area allowing us to provide a more efficient service to our customers.

Since phase 4 started on Monday 29 October there has been approximately 200 metres of 450mm ductile pipe laid and as shown in the attached photos. The trench has been back filled ready for concreting later today, once cured the black hot rolled asphalt will be carried out for the permanent finish.
