The overall scheme involves the installation of 4.8km of new water main and the construction of a new booster pumping station at our Lound Water Treatment Works. The scheme will increase the capacity of our existing water network in the area allowing us to provide a more efficient service to our customers.
The current programme for the road closure is as follows:
Phase 1: 17th September 2018 to 3rd October 2018. Beccles Road closed from junction with Burnet Road to Primrose Way.
Phase 2: 3rd October 2018 to 20th October 2018 Beccles Road closed from junction of primrose Way to Chruch Lane.
Phase 3: 20th October 2018 to 29th October 2018, Beccles Road closed while the 5 way lights crossing takes place.
Phase 4 & 5: 29th October 2018 to 20th January 2019:
Phase 4: Beccles Road closed between junction of Mill Road to Crab Lane.
Phase 5: Beccles Road closed between junction of Crab Lane to Mallard Way.
