Beccles Road, Bradwell, 450mm Water Main Installation

The overall scheme involves the installation of 4.8km of new water main and the construction of a new booster pumping station at our Lound Water Treatment Works. The scheme will increase the capacity of our existing water network in the area allowing us to provide a more efficient service to our customers.

The team on site are still working extremely hard. Phase 4 finished at midday on Wednesday 14 November with the road closure coming off at midday. The phase 5 road closure has been set up from Beccles Road/Crab Lane junction to Mallard Way.

Phase 4 total length of 450mm ductile iron pipe was 375 metres.
