River Stour (Brantham)

The Eel Regulation Compliance project at Brantham will comprise the installation of eel friendly screening equipment at our abstraction point on the river Stour. The work is driven by the need for Essex & Suffolk Water to comply with the Eels Regulations (2009) and improving the biodiversity value in the river Stour.

Daniel Wilson

Project Manager, Essex & Suffolk Water

I am the project manager for the eel regulations programme of work. This includes our work at the Brantham intake. I have worked for Essex & Suffolk Water for 16 years managing a number of new build and maintenance projects. I am a Registered Project Professional with the Association for Project Management and have a BSc in Construction Management.

We are all looking forward to delivering this exciting project to improve the river habitat for eels enhance the biodiversity of the river. Please do feel free to come and see us when we are set up on site with any queries or just to say hello.

Kevin Packard

Project Acceptance Engineer, Essex & Suffolk Water

I am the Acceptance Engineer for Essex & Suffolk Water. I am responsible for the installation and commissioning of the work we are undertaking at Brantham. I have worked for Essex & Suffolk Water for 14 years. As a Chartered Electrical Engineer I have been involved in the delivery of a number of large, high complexity projects for the company. These include pumping station upgrades and the enlargement of our Abberton Reservoir south of Colcehster.

Dean Adams

Contracts Manager, Integrated Water Services Ltd (ESW Framework Contractor)

I am the contract manager for IWS. We are the main contractor for this project working on behalf of Essex and Suffolk Water and are responsible for delivering the construction work at Brantham.

I have been with IWS (previously South Staffordshire Water) for 16 years starting as an electrical apprentice working my way through the ranks to my current role delivering a multitude of projects and upgrades on water industry assets.
